Hello everyone! Today for my Social Listening Blog I am going to be talking about Tarte Cosmetics. Tarte Cosmetics is a Cosmetic company that was started by a woman named Maureen Kelly. According to their website, Tarte is known for having vegan friendly makeup options, clinically proven ingredients, and so on. Tarte has been in the well known makeup game for quite some time now, which is quite rare for the beauty community, because what usually happens is products become very popular for a short period of time, blowing up on social media, and then die down after a couple months and you never really hear of them anymore, but Tarte has been around since 2003, becoming available at Sephora in 2005, that is 20 years of being Tarte being around, but just because Tarte has been around for awhile doesn't quite make them top tier, their sales aren't exactly as high as companies like Dior or Charolette Tilbury.   Hello everyone! Let's get into some marketing news. As you probably already know, Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, bought Twitter and he has done quite a few things to change the way Twitter is being ran, like getting rid of half of their 7,500 employees.  Hello! My name is Kyla Knott, I am a business student at Oregon State and LBCC. I was born and raised on the coast, in Lincoln City, well technically I'm from a very small town just inland of Lincoln City but no one knows where that is. I was raised by two amazing parents, and I also have an older brother who is 22, he is pretty cool too. My parents own a construction and development company. My dad started the company in 2008, pretty crazy considering the economy was crashing at the time. He has done very well for himself and I am so thankful for the knowledge he has given me, he's the whole reason I'm even in this class right now.  I always knew I wanted to go into business because I've always been around it, working in our company's office, to managing a few of our storage facilities, to running equipment and working with the crew on site. I'm so excited to be taking business classes at OSU and LBCC so I can learn how to start my own company and follow in my
